Heya guys! What with all the spring excitement Sushi's fostered around the forum, I figured I'd host a teeny event with my own items to help celebrate. I really am happiest to see others happy. Everyone knows my love for matchmaking. I just really love Sams pairing off in general, watching Songs fill and mares settle into new lives with a stallion. Talk about the epitome of spring, pairing off for a little love later on. Or really, in the case of Sams, building a harem. Here's how this is going to work. I currently have five trade items to my name, three feathers and two flowers. All of them are mine to do with as I will, right? So I will give them away. But here's the catch.    + Super Sekkrit Sushi PrizeFor every mare who joins a Song or stallion who collects a mare from today to May 15, I will enter their owner into a random draw for one of these items. One Sam, one entry into the draw for both the owner of the mare and the owner of the stallion. Just make sure you post it here so that I know! After that date, I'll visit our handy, dandy randomizer.org and run it for the winners of the items. I figured that this would be a fun way to encourage people who'd been debating a pairing for a while, or who wanted to pair off their mares but just hadn't had the incentive. Of course, if you need any matchmaking help, LvSoulFriend and I would be quite happy to help in our matchmaker threads in Sam Discussion! Once you have a new pair you'd like to announce, please include their names, their owners, and the Song's name in bold. Thank you! Each person may only win one item, but the more tickets you have, the better your chances! All Sams must officially be in a Song in the database by May 15 for their ticket to be counted towards the final total. Wow, that's a fun spring contest, and really sweet of you to do Jenn!
Maybe this will convince Flare and Jewel to decide to actually settle down and start that Song they've been thinking of! *gives Aquatics a meaningful look*

Steele, that is awesome! I was privy to her decision process and it was a near thing between three handsome stallions. But she looks just stunning as part of Mystic's band. I'm making a small addition to the first post asking people to bold any future pairing alerts so that I make sure to notice them. Because boy do I love discussion! I just want to catch everything as well. Oh... and the same stallion can indeed earn you multiple tickets if they attract multiple mares.

I think the hardest part of finally getting Flare and Jewel to make it official is going to be deciding on a name for their Song... *prods them* I want something that either indicates the great difference in personality between them or references their friendly squabbles but a name eludes me. *stares at the aquatics*
Jewel: *is too excited to be helpful* He pyroposed! Finally! I thought I was going to have to ask him!
Flare: *grumbles* Been ayround the human too much you've been. Pyroposed...
Jewel: Well you have! You pyroposed that we stayrt a Song! Finally! I'm so happy! *giggles*
They just won't tell me what they want to call this Song so that I can actually set it up for them... Once I figure it out and actually set the Song up officially I'll post here again to enter the draw.

I can't wait for the two of them to formally get their Song up and running. <3 As soon as they do, lemme know and I'll add them!
As a note to everyone, all Sams must officially be in a Song in the database by May 15 for their ticket to be counted towards the final total. Just so the owners of the stallions know that they need to make themselves a quick forum post before that date. ^_^

I am quite amused to say that Vivacity of the Lurid Afterglow took a real shine to Bluestarwolf12's Mystic of the Iridescent Skies ... and after poking me into forwarding her case to the shiny stallion, has been accepted. *grin*
Also, a bit of jungle fever has been spreading around - 'cause Glider of the Tropical Shore will be admitting cassiadawn's Impression of the Skies Aflame into his Song of the Jungle Shore.
..... I do so -love- pairing. XD SO much fun. And this thread, even without the prizes is great. I feel like I'm taking out a wedding announcement ad or something. Hee hee hee.
