Samanayrs

Apparently my monthly bandwidth has been exceeded for the month because I hate Photobucket and it is terrible.

Anyway, I've uploaded all of the Samanayr images to the samanayrs.com domain. So just replace everything in red (eg
img.photobucket.com/albums/v18/skysong_of_shar/samanayrs/951-1000/981.png) with samanayrs.com/images

So img.photobucket.com/albums/v18/skysong_of_shar/samanayrs/951-1000/981.png would become samanayrs.com/images/951-1000/981.png

Please let me know if you come across any missing images.

Anyone who sees this and is willing, could you please update your own database records? This is going to be massively time-consuming on my end (though awesome - I'm super glad you moved the images, Sushi!) and any help will be appreciated.

Ahh, I do wish I could take you up on the offer! Unfortunately, the only way for you to help at this point would be if you signed in under my (or Sushi's) database account, since those are the only ones with permissions to modify any record.

Okay, so I was going through and updating my sams, and took a break to feed the critters. Now everything is messed up *pokes her sams* They all have their watermarked image in the extras fields, which I don't understand why.

Someone in there monkeying around? I was just about done with switching mine over from photobutt too*goes to fix hers*

Oh LvSoulFriend, you caught me XD I ran a script that switched the thumbnail images over to samanayrs.net then promptly broke the database trying to do the same with the other images and had to upload my backup, oops!

In any case, all watermarked images are now linked from my domain so you don't need to update them. I'm going to try to get the other images switched over tonight, since I'm pretty sure I know what went wrong and I should be able to run the script properly this time. I'll also get the other missing images uploaded to the domain.

Updated the database(except for pets and items which I can't do) and my signature. Now all they need is the thumbnails uploaded and they'll be good to go!

Edit: I guess the signature didn't work, apparently it doesn't like not knowing the dimensions of images that don't exist yet...

Okay, all URLs for Samanayr images and their related stuff (thumbnails, foal images, pixel Sams) have been updated to point to samanayrs.net instead of photobucket. I just need to upload the thumbnail images (I thought I'd done that, I guess not o_o) and pixel Sams! I'll be doing that after cake, because it's cake time.

I want to do a bit of coloring tonight still, so tomorrow when the kiddos are napping I'm going to start transferring everything else (pets and items).

I guess I should thank Photobucket, I've been meaning to do this for a while and this is just the kick in the pants that I needed XD

There, everything should be pointing to samanayrs.net now! Now I just need to update the image URLs on the website, but the database should (hopefully) be all set.

My sams are missing 0030 and 1162 headshots. Other than that, it all looks great

@LvSoulFriend - Gloss is there: the link just needs to be http://samanayrs.com/images/thumbnails/1-100/030.gif with a 1 instead of 001


There's still a few headshots missing from the 1101-1200 range, we still need 1129-1139, 1141-1160, 1162-1164, 1166-1173, 1175-1189, and 1191-1199

Ugh, Photobucket. Sometimes it's such a pain.

Looks like there are still foals that haven't been uploaded: 284, 658, 883, 970, 1076, 1130 - 1139, 1143, 1144, 1147, 1149 - 1152, 1157, 1190, 1191, 1192, 1194, 1195, 1197. Also, 1306's image needs to uploaded and her gorgeous stallion Valor of the Fearsome Flame (1300) isn't yet in the database.

*bemused grin* So...somehow during the switch, Slink of the Bare Sands ended up with Leap of the Deepest Snow's Firebird...I guess she was so eager to get off of Photobucket that she jumped to an earlier ID numbered Sam? XP You may want to remove her from Slink's cert whenever you have time, as much as I think she looks nice there!

Aili's pet ID is missing from Leap's cert too. The pet is there, just not the ID number.

..okay, so I think I can explain that XD I probably put the pet image on Slink's cert by mistake, realized it was the wrong Sam right before I uploaded the image, but then forgot to replace the PNG for Slink with the un-petted version, and that would have been uploaded when I uploaded all of the Sam images XD Hah hah oops! I'll fix that and look for the remaining thumbnails and foal images later today!

I've noticed a bunch of different Sams showing up with this gal's image in the DB (not the cert link, just the db image):



They seem to be in the 400's (404, 405, 420)

Looks like pets might not have been bounced over? Or their links in the db might not have ben changed. Not sure which!

Also, my Flame's Embrace (0951) is missing his Firebird pet (f007) from his equipped section.
