Im going to go re-read the sam site but id like to ask here too.

I get a little confused with the sizes and. Different species that roam the sam world.

Sharians are human like? And are the largest? Im still a little confused about exactly what sharians are.

Enkeyns are sam like just bigger? But smaller than sharians?

Oquiesa are dog like only? And they are smaller than enkeyns but bigger than sams?

Samanayrs are the smallest besides pets and minis?

Because I was doing my lion rp and I feel my story was soooo totally off. :/ and its frustrating me because I don't want to look like a complete novice....though I feel like one ^_^;;;;;;; and I want to understand the sizes of everything....

I swear I've seen a size chart somewhere... comparative silhouettes or something along those lines. I can't seem to track it down right now, but hopefully I'm not miss-remembering since that would be very handy to get the perspective down right.

I had typed out a whole description of how I think the sizes relate to each other... but I'm probably wrong and would just confuse the matter lol

Here's a fancy shmancy size chart



From left to right: Samanayr, human, Oquiesa, Sharian, Enkeyn, Sa'enkeyn

Sharians - Humanoid dragons, the average height ranges between 7-8 feet.
Oquiesa - The one shown in the size chart is average, but like dogs they can be larger or smaller (smaller is more common). They're primarily canine but occasionally show non-canine traits.
Enkeyns - Completely unrelated to Samanayrs, they're large furred and feathered dragons. They have a wide length range, 10-20 feet on average, and heights vary.
Sa'enkeyns - Directly descended from Enkeyns. Can range in length from 4-7 feet, average is more around 5 feet.

Sams got bigger?! I remember a long time back (way before sams were on PI), when I asked, I could have sworn I was told they were only about a foot tall. Now they are 2 feet! No more imagining them as roughly the size of my model horses XD

Yeah, the 'one foot' thing was pretty much a number I arbitrarily came up with that I didn't really think about until I was redoing the info pages a while ago XD I realized it was a lot shorter than I actually saw them as, so they've had a bit of a 'growth spurt'!
