That's pretty quick to narrow it down though! I...still haven't actually read the entries, but based on previous writing contests I know without having to that it's got to be tough judging. The folks here write very well.

Very much looking forwards to seeing what these two ladies look like all finished up! Caught a brief glimpse of the desert sa'grisayr in Sushi's last stream, but only the base layer.

The three entries that placed as runners-up were Seren's Quest, Delicious's Plummet, and Origami_Dragon's Furl. Sushi made each of you a unique prize pet in the theme of the event! (Jealous! I want!) Hehehe.

Ooh, congrats Amazon and Janalee! Those mares are lovely! Joy looks so sweet! Fanged...but sweet. And Scour looks cautious. Love the stripeings on her and the touches of warm colors on Joy. Just amazing little ladies, like the rest of the group and Sams in general. Congrats on them!

And congrats to the other runner ups! The pets are all darling! *squishes catgryph* Going to have to find the perfect Sam for you and find you a name. You are so darling! And remind me of a desert catgryph. Half tempted to try giving him to Surge, even though Surge is aquatic. Thank you!

The little walrus and dragonet are so watery and adorable! Especially those oversized looking wings on Delicious' little lady.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much Jenn, it's truly an honor to have been chosen from so many talented writers. I had a blast writing for this competition, and now seeing this lovely lady in full color well, it's amazing. Sushi did a marvelous job with the art, as always. Those violet eyes are just so soulful.

Joy is beautiful and vivacious, congratulations Janalee! I love the little accents of orange on the fins, so charming. The three pets are just darling, the pudgy Walrus-construct, the elegant dragonet with such large wings and of course the dignified catgryph. Gosh I just love the little bobbed tail on the catgryph.

I'd have to say Ori's catgryph is my favourite! He's so cute with his feathery ears and little bob tail! Just adorable! The two sams are great too in all their coloured glory, and the walrus mage construct is so roly poly.

Thanks for running this contest Jenn, it was fun! I just wish I'd had more time to participate

LOOK AT MY ROLY-POLY CHUB! *squishes him and trills happily* He's so precious! But the irony.. I have two mage constructs, both aquatics, but that little guy is going to have a little green mate! <3
I just need a Sam to equip them to! XD

I love Ori's catgryph, he's so detailed and I love his bobtail <3 and the giant-winged dragonet are precious! And I'm in love with the detailedness on Scour's tail! and the blue and orange and sweet little face on Joy! I'm so honored to just have been a runner up, congrats to alll of you, and Janalee especially! ;3

And congrats to all the other winners as well! I just love Scour's pattern and species combination, and all of the pets are such a fun, adorable surprise- I kind of want the Mage Construct to be a stuffed animal now. *grins, and goes back to dancing*
