If you've ever watched a stream you may have noticed I hold my pencils in a weird way and color really hard, in such a way that a lot of pressure is placed at the base of my thumb. The past few days I've been experiencing pain in my thumb while drawing and using it in general, and today it's so bad that I can't color at all. Going by google it could be arthritis or tendonitis D:

I have a doctor's appointment next week but unless things improve before then I'm on hold for colored pencils for the time being ;____; Argh!

I had issues with using mouse and keyboard too much, my entire hand would hurt even when I went to bed and I found it nearly impossible to pour a pitcher of liquid. Be careful of repetitive stress injuries, some can become really extreme! Take a lot of breaks when you colour and just shake out your hand every few minutes. And since it's already hurting, take some time off, like you said you have a doctor's appointment already so good idea to wait till then.

My carpal tunnel did get better over time, but it still flares up from time to time if I play any kind of clicking based game on the computer. ^.^

That really sucks. I have a similar issue where the last three fingers go numb on my main hand, and it's from a nerve pinched in my elbow. Doesn't help that I like to sleep with my arms tucked in tight. Hopefully it will get better for you and you find some ways to relieve the pain!

I have issues between my thumb and pointer, not sure what it is but sometimes it gets really bad where I can't even function. I hope you find some answers and start feeling better. Let us know how it goes!!
