Well, I signed up last night (silvermoondragon (#7101)) I've already got one lioness and she's pregnant, but I'm not having any luck with food... I found a carcass while exploring, but it doesn't seem to be in my inventory...

Was it a whole carcass (a picture of a dead animal) or the remains of one (a bunch of ribs and stuff sticking out of a pile of yuck)? The whole carcass gets stored in your hoard, the remains your lion eats himself and doesn't share. XD

@silver - if you need food let me know. I've got some carcasses I'd be happy to give away.

@Asara - oh... that's maybe what happened then, I didn't look too closely when it popped up.

@Echos - that would be awesome... at this point my lion is so hungry I don't know if I'll ever be able to find any food now

I sent you some too! You need to send your lionesses out to hunt, they bring home food You can find food randomly in explore but it's more reliable with hunting.

I decided to give it a try, so I'm over there as Ori (#7634) now. Slightly confused as to why you apparently start the game off with no food and too hungry to regain energy if you aren't lucky enough to find any food before running out of energy though...

Ori, I sent you some carcasses too! That annoyed me when I first started as well, I ended up spending most of my starting money buying some food from Monkey Business, but now carcasses have been removed from there because they want you to trade with other players o_x At least they've changed it so that you regain 1% energy per 15 minutes if your lion is too hungry rather than nothing, although it would still take a while to get anywhere!

Thanks Sushi! It's so easy to burn all your energy with no luck on getting food, especially when battles pop up... And I did notice later that energy was sloooowly creeping back up after all. But yes...that is a slow gain.

IF anyone needs a lionesss...I got some I'll happily give. It was hard to start out and hunting for food is much easier the more ladies you got.
