I wish I had money, university budgets aren't very good for that... especially when you live in residence.

*nodnod* Yuss, I feel you there... I'm an in-residence university student as well. A few Sams would be a rare treat to myself, I think, if I can manage to snag a slot. xD Budgeting stinks.

I lived in the residences in my freshman year. >_< Definitely not a fun experience, but I learned a great deal from it. I managed to set some money aside for my birthday this year that I never spent, so I'm thankful I'm possibly able to commission my first Sams. (That is, if I can nab a spot. Never done this before! )

The fire alarms at 2am are killer, and the wanton vandalism is not so nice, but I live on the sixth floor(the top) so not so many drunk people wander up which is good, and why we can decorate our alcove for Christmas, so pretty.

I remember one freshman decided it was a wonderful idea to literally skateboard UP my wall at 11 PM when I had class at 7 in the morning the next day. Needless to say, I yelled at him and he wasn't too happy. Then our next-door neighbors were heavy pot smokers. I called the campus police on them. I don't do well with people blatantly putting others at risk or breaking the law.

Oh, and the people on the bottom floor definitely smoke pot because we can smell it when people on my floor leave their windows open.
