Well, I read the phrase 'flower of manhood' earlier in the morning, and then noticed how much faery wings could look like petals...and it all just went downhill from there. *grins sheepishly* The card is from Bramble to Magnanimity, and the poem is his response to her. Enjoy?

Eee, so many adorable illustration and poem entries I already responded to some of them on PI so I'll just comment on the ones I haven't seen yet!

Out of curiosity, will the design contest winners be announced before the Samanayrs are all coloured? Or after?

I wonder how many of these pair songs will be applied with for the next breeding season...

XD Probably a lot, haha! I know there's a few people out that that are longing for a Tribal *pokes shadows*

To wrap up the Love is All Around event, we have the results of the design and story contests

It was very hard to pick winners for the design contest - there were some lovely designs, everything from bright to natural colors. I ended up going with Orasteele's design for the stallion and Rekyrem's design for the mare. I love the combination of the bright fade of the stallion's colors with the dusty pinks and blues of the mare, and I think they're going to make some pretty babies



The story contest was also very difficult to judge. There were eight entries, all very well written, and each portrayed a fun take on how the pair met. I enjoyed reading all of them

The winning story was written by Janalee and Echos! I loved their version of the events, and the interaction between mare and stallion as they share their story. I'll certainly post it, with their permission! Just let me know who gets the stallion and who gets the mare, and I'll update their cert

A huge thank you to everyone for making the Love is All Around event such a success! You all make it such fun to run events

I absolutely love the colours that were chosen! (Especially the Sa'grasayr's multi-coloured-ness ) Can't wait to see babies from them.

*dances ecstatically* Eee! That just completely made my day...and possibly my weekend. The mare should be coming with me, and the stallion with Echos, though I'll ask her to confirm that. *grins, and runs off excitedly to pm Echos*
And you're more than welcome to share our entry if you like Sushi; I'm pretty sure Echos put one of the longer versions of it up in the Art and Writing section already, so it's not exactly a secret anyway. XP

Eee! Thank you so much sushi, I'm so excited about winning my favorite sam of the lot. Janalee will be getting Burble and Lift will be coming home with me *luffs on Northern's* If anyone wants to read our entry the original, unedited version is posted in Art and Writing, we had to cut it down to make the word limit. I'd also love to read the entries if people want to post them.
