The sky was clear except for a few fleeing wooly clouds, scampering across the sky to get away from their shepherd and her companion, as the swooped and dove, streaking through the clouds and emerging beaded with moisture, giving shrill whistling whoops to each other as the spun and banked, two sets of draconic wings catching the air in elaborate dancing dives and spins. The mare grinned in exhilaration, letting out a high-pitched cry to Chinook as he dove down, whistling and landing on her haunches, perched their and moving her wings to give her surprise turns, to which she responded with staccato laughs that echoed across the heavens, as she looped-the- loop and plunged down to make the grasses rustle and bend below her, laughing uproariously and setting down to gallop across a hummock, wings spread, Chinook bobbing on her back and chirruping as she galloped down, feet brushing the ground, half gliding, half running.

Erosion had spent much of her time watching as the mare with wings and her little winged companion take to the sky with uproarious delight. They had been there forever! Enough for her to concoct a master plan, one in which had to involve careful planning. She had a net, something of old, something she found. It was almost clear, propped up on thin sticks that stood up tall, ready for the unsuspecting Lamanayr to run into. Erosion herself was hidden in a large tuft of grass, very close and well hidden.
Closer the mare ran.
Erosion perked her long ears forward, her russety red eyes open wide to catch all that was about to happen. A tumultuous laugh was brewing in her chest as she breathed as quietly as possible. Her tufted tail curled over her back, flicking every so often, back and forth.

To Dive, life was a game, a light stepping dance between conflicting characters that popped up in her life for a few brief seconds before fading into the background, ever since she had left her birth song. She visited, but mostly, her life was about Chinook, her, and the world about her. The sky loomed overhead and behind and above her, like a cool lake begging to be plunged into, as she bared her teeth in a wild sort of 'grin', approaching the tree cover with ever increasing speed, looking up to see the lake suddenly turned murky by branches, laughing lightly at it as well, before her world turned upside down with a snap against her form, Chinook giving off a squealing sound of alarm as they pitched forward, tangled in the weave of a net, a tangle of legs and wings, two slender heads popping from the cool-colored tangle admist flashes of red, staring up with big bewildered eyes at the fibers knotted about them.
