A thought randomly struck me a short while ago - what's my personal Sam gender ratio? I never even wondered that before. If there are roughly four mares for every stallion in ordinary Sam society, how far do I "deviate"?

68 total (soon to be 69, so I'll use that)

19 stallions

50/19 = 2.63 mares for every stallion

So if 4:1 is normalish for average world NPC Sams, what's normal for user-owned PC Sams? (Kind of like the heroic average being 12 whereas Farmer Fred's average is 10 in DnD.) Where's your Sam population sitting, guys?

*looks at results* Yeah...I need more mares... This is why I always, always put mare down for Frankens...I think the numbers overall are way off from the 1 to 4 ratio as well. *checks* Yup, 2.39 mares per stallion entered in the database. Though I think some Sams are still missing from there...

Seems I lucked out with my stallions ^_^ I LOVE my boys.

Including a couple that aren't in the database yet, I believe I have...

Stallions: 7

So just about a 2:1 ratio. Of course, I think I've been pretty lucky about getting stallions, and then there's the custom stallion I ordered (it sort of throws off the rates when you can order whatever gender you want). I can see how the ratio might get out-of-balance that way.

Maybe Sushi needs to have a "mares only" event some time XD

Yep, that'd be 6 mares and 6 stallions! For a while after the Zodiac contests, I actually had 2 stallions per mare! XD

I've also taken to putting 'mare' in for every franken, but it'll work itself out, eh?
