Samanayr name: Yearning of the Crimson Rainbow

Physical description: A long-legged female with a tri-colored mane and tail.
Personality: A bit prissy. Yearning's the sort of sam who watches her song's foals and sniffs that younglings these days aren't what they used to be. She has a habit of meddling in other sams' affairs, but she does mean well.

Samanayr name: Reach of the Frozen Winter

Physical description: Fluffy and soft, Reach is a typical Northern.
Personality: Unadventurous. He likes meandering or, even better, staying in one place and simply watching the world go by. Since he's of a rather solitary nature, he's the type of stallion that would be dedicated to a single mare.

Likes and dislikes: Reach loves quiet evenings, especially when he has a comfortable spot from which to watch the sun set. he hates insects - noise, annoying things - and hot weather.
Aspirations and goals: Although he's shy and a bit lazy, he does dream of having his own Song some day.

Physical description: A bipedal sam with the ignis trait of flame hair. The green on her back fades into white, and dark curling lines decorate her coat.
Personality: Friendly! Prone to finding things far too amusing than they actually are. As she is bipedal, she's very good at reaching up to retrieve things that other sams can't get to.

Samanayr name: Sentinel of Spilling Shadows
Gender: mare
Species: samanayr

Physical description: She is a beautiful combination of rare traits: solid and bioluminescence eyes, clawed paws, and spectral vestigial feather wings.
Personality: Sentinel is a leader, but more because she doesn't take well to instructions than because of her charisma.

Samanayr name: Jewel of the Deepest Trench

Physical description: She's a swimmer for sure: fins, tadpole tail, and fin wings. Even her large ears look fin-ish.
Personality: A rather distracted sam who prefers to explore the waters of her realm than interact with others.

Likes and dislikes: She likes everything about the water: the comforting coolness of it, how it holds her up without holding her back, the flicker of light off fish scales, the way the sun dapples on the surface. She doesn't like muddied water.

Favorite color: Light blues and greens.
Odd fact: Jewel was a gift from the Holiday Gift-o-Rama 2012. Thank you, whoever gifted her!

Samanayr name: Flood of the Gnarled River
Gender: mare
Species: aquatic
Age (foal, yearling, young adult, adult): young adult
Physical description: As an aquatic, she has fins instead of feet. From her mother she inherited her demon-touched eyes and from her father she got a pair of horns. She's a sleek sort of sam.
Personality: Though not as bossy as her mother, Flood is still independent and occasionally hard-headed.
Abilities (magical and otherwise):
History: Her parents being land-dwellers, Flood was raised more by Jewel of the Deepest Trench that her birth song. Jewel's maternal instincts aren't as strong as some others, though, and to her Flood was more like an assistant than a daughter. Flood learned to share Jewel's fascination with the underwater world they inhabited, and Jewel's sink or swim method of fostering actually suited her own independent personality.

Physical description: A winged samanayr, primarily red but with black and white circles like bulls-eyes in her fur. She has colorful wrap-around wings and glowing eyes.
Personality: More of a loner, despite being part of a Song. Precision prefers flying to everything else.

History: She traveled for a long time by herself, When she met Muse of the Soaring Soul, she admired his joy of exploration and decided to join his Song. They had twins in spring of 2015.
