Samanayrs

I've been thinking a lot lately about the various Samanayr items and how a lot of them are used for breedings, but these days breedings aren't as frequent as I would like ;_; I was wondering what everyone would think of using one-use items (chocolate, cookies, cupcakes) for customs and semi-customs too. Like breedings, the item would be used up once the Sam arrived.

Thoughts? Any other ideas on how items can be used?

Yes! This makes a lot of sense to me, I mean it's a new sam being made so why not? And that way even basic customs can get a little more "snazzy"! I don't really see any down side to this.

Sounds like a fun idea to me as well! So long as it's still random which trait is coming from the item, why not?

A different potential use, hmm...

What if people could trade them in (either straight or with point-items as 'payment to the Sharian') for a random trait amulet that fell into one of the item's effects?

I'm all for that idea too! Would you be able to use multiple's or just a single one per time?

I also like Jenn's idea of potentially trading them in, or maybe you could combine two(or maybe more) together to make one item with an expanded or different set of traits?

I think I am going to allow them to be used with all tokens, at a limit of one per token. And I love the idea of trading them in for something.. need to think about what! Maybe two one-use items and x-points in modiems to create an amulet or something like that..
