Heya!

With the recent influx of Sams from events and breedings, I know the database is out of date. xD I've entered the ones from the most recent gifting, but if anyone had a little free time to locate others missing (either because they haven't been named yet or they're just not in), I'd be grateful.

And if you happen to see any discrepancies in your travels (missing traits, incorrect image paths, no thumbnails, etc.), please feel free to bring them to my attention as well so I can give them a tweak in the system. I update them as I see them.

Illume 1224 doesn't have a thumbnail. I added him into the DB, but he'll need to be edited with a thumbnail image.

The last time I assisted Sushi by creating thumbnails and watermarked images, I got up to 1221. I don't think there will be thumbnails or watermarked images yet for Sams after that point.

It looks like a lot of the recent Sams have been set up using the old Photobucket image hosting links. I couldn't tell you at first glance how many because I'm not exactly certain how to search for them... but for instance, 1221, the most recent I did:

Watermark image URL should be "http://samanayrs.net/images/db/1221.png"

I think she started using the Sam domain for images around Sam 1200.

I still haven't figured out if Sushi uploaded the watermarks I sent her to the Samanayrs server or to Photobucket; I've tried every different way of typing the link and I can't find the thumbnail for 1221 though I know I did one and sent it along. I think we might need Sushi's input on that...

I'll work on updating thumbnails/watermarked images today. Anything after 1200 will be on the domain rather than Photobucket.

That is such a PERFECT list, thank you! I've gone through and updated some - will continue to update as able.

My next check will be foal images I suppose, since I know a lot of them aren't coming through or just aren't entered into the database.

I love going through the database and it's great seeing all these additions! Congrats to Sushi for drawing all these amazing beauties and hats off to Jennalyn for organizing them all into such a great database.

Jenn or Sushi, if you need anyone to add watermarks to the older sams, let me know! There are all those dudes I dug up on the Wayback Machine that I think still need some attention. Or if there's anything else that could use doing.

EDIT:
Also, 1039, 1191, and 1197 need the guest artist information added to their traits and features.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY how very happy I am that the task of manually adding a '0' to the beginning of every ID from 001-999 is complete. xD *falls over* Only took a few months! Many thanks to many people for their help, especially amazondreamer for compiling the list of every single Sam's name in order (since I stupidly didn't include ID numbers in the 'edit any sam' menu of the database)!

Jaes, I've updated the traits on those three, but could you possibly give me the names of the guest artists for each? Unfortunately, their images aren't loading for me for some reason. X_o Dang Photobucket.

And hmm, all of those foal images do appear to be missing from uploaded files. I'll have to ask Sushi.

Not only do I still have the foal images, I have the certed foal PSDs with editable text for every foal since I started IDing the Sams (have I mentioned the Sam folder is huge?) XD I'll see about getting those up tonight!

EDIT: Got caught up in coloring/equipping last night so will try to get them up tonight!

Jaes, I hope to start working with the pre-forum Sam records you so awesomely compiled sometime this summer, once work is no longer quite as insane and my costume is completed for the Steampunk convention. <3

There have been a few more Sams added to the bunch since this thread was first posted. If anyone feels like gathering the missing (new) ID's, I can work on getting them in for mate-hunting season?

No problem! I had a lot of fun digging up the old sams, actually. It was a blast from the past. I can completely sympathize with work - I just started a new job and I've been so, so busy. Good luck with your costume!

Some random stuff I noticed:
- 1175 needs her guest artist info (RikkuGirl)
- 0784, 0922, 0923,0924, 0925, 0926, 0939, 0940, 0943, 0944, and 1190 need Guest Artist info in their Features section (most of them have the artist's name is in the Traits section)
- 1174 and 0819 images aren't appearing
- 1231's certificate still says "unnamed"
- 0839 and 1185 are a pair, but 0839's image doesn't have her in it (hopefully that makes sense!)
- many arboreals are missing "head mane" in their traits
- and a number of the foals are still missing
