Samanayrs

My account has been expired for years because I don't actually play the game anymore, but with the new PI I can no longer send PMs or make posts as I have been doing D: So if I want to continue to do Samanayr stuff on PI I'll have to renew my account. Grumble grumble.

I'm afraid I cannot understand your frustrations as the furthest I ever got with PI was the 20 day trial accounts when I was like 13/14. XD

Darn, does that mean you will not be able to hold games in PI? Because i can renew your account for you so you can still hold events if needed.

Yeah, I have an account that I occasionally run events on for another adoptable >> Do not have the money to renew it atm, so will have to switch the name of one of my subs that is paid for atm XP Oh well, was planning on going down to only 2-3 accounts anyways XP

Well, I'm out of BP so I will now forget to feed my ponies and they'll die, and thus ends my re-involvement with the game part of PI XD

I guess I'll have to keep my account current to continue posting Samanayr stuff on PI, oh well. I won't be having any more events where you can enter on the Sam forum and PI though, like a PI Franken and a Sam Franken at the same time.

Just out of curiosity, but why haven't you just moved over all Samanayr stuff to the forum, since the new PI is giving you trouble? Is it because lots of people stay on PI to remain connected to their other adoptables?

(I've only ever been on the forum and have never experienced the wonders of PI I suppose. XD)

ive often wondered the same.


though i enjoy pi... i find alot of the people on there could care less about being involved on a normal basis. they just want to win to say they won... the sam is then left to be alone and unadored 8( makes me sad...

though i guess it does keep the word out for those who actually do want to push into the sam community and give life to their sam. ^^

It's probably because I've never had the money to figure out what PI was all about but...

For the most part I use PI like a mailing list right now. There are a couple hundred people on the PM mailing list and new people see the threads on the forum. A lot of adoptables are run there so it's a one-stop place for everyone rather than having to check a bunch of different forums.

I know it can be frustrating if a favorite Samanayr is won by someone who doesn't do anything further with it, but there never has been nor will there ever be a minimum participation requirement. Maybe they'll never do anything with the Samanayr, maybe they'll come back in a year or two and become really involved. Everyone - like you guys - who puts a lot of work and effort into the community is amazing, but I don't expect that of everyone!

Ah, I can understand it being easier. I sometimes wish I had the money because of the extra chances/events, but it makes sense what you're saying. XD

Well, that's the only thing I'm going to be doing differently, there won't be any extra chances if you're on both sites XD Everything will be run on the Sam forum and just mirrored or linked to on PI.

I feel you, Sushi! I'm afraid I fall in the category of people who forget to check the forums without periodic reminders, but I don't love my Sams any less for that! I really ought to just bully myself into adding this to my daily rotation, but it's so hard to remember all the places I need to check in regularly. That is the one good thing about PI, it gathers all the adopties together so you don't miss any. The changes are really annoying, but not much to be done about it I guess

This might be good for me - my Tervenna account on PI is expired, so I won't be able to post from it for games there anyways... but I discovered today that, at least for now, I still get Sam mailing list PMs. I didn't think I would with it being expired... so if games will be here, maybe I will be more motivated to remember to check in here more than once every couple months >.>
