Samanayrs

While working on random Sams for the gift-o-rama I asked Rythe if he could cobble together some kind of random trait generator. I was thinking of something that would just spit out a list of however many random traits - Rythe had other plans!

To get to the generator, select 'Options' on the traits menu and 'Sam Gen:'

This is so much fun! Gen just threw out an aboreal minyar with flippers and an Tribal desert integrated sam with pure black eyes, fairytale wings and damanged as traits. Honestly that tribal sounds awesome. I may have to add that to my list....

Rythe, you are AMAZING! I've made some simple gens before, and I love to play with random number generators and percentages and things like that cause I'm a math nerd. But, seriously, I can't imagine how much work went into the sam gen. Thank you! It's so much fun!

Ahem, right. Anywho, we're glad you're all enjoying it!

Operetta - I'm a fan of data-driven designs and try to keep things flexible enough for anything Sushi might try to do in the future, hence exposing all the pretty numbers that made sense without swamping myself. And revamping how the website handles species in the background so the generator will automatically include new ones in roughly appropriate ways (which is why species got rearranged in the various lists again <.<).

If anyone manages to break the thing, we'd appreciate a mention on how it happened, and as usual, there's still a few more improvements that could be done pending my other projects and interest in said improvements. Feedback in that regard would be appreciated!

PS: 'Misery of the Lonely Prophecy' is one of the great names Jaes' generator came up with. ^^

Hahaha I just got a Desert Sa'krien Integrated Aeronayr with head mane, triple hooves, velveted fur, and tadpole tail. What a combo heehee
