I've been doing the holiday market rounds this year and I've been busyyyy getting ready. Fortunately I had my last event for the season yesterday so now I have some time to relax.. and by 'relax' I mean 'finish commissions that need to be done before Christmas' XD Oh, and get ready for Christmas. Details!

But sorry for disappearing again D: I'll be running Gift-o-rama next month for sure though, so stay tuned!

It's been a pretty interesting past few months, I've rented a studio space at a little studio/gallery downtown so I'm actually working outside the house for the first time in 10 years XD I've also become more involved in the arts scene and have been in a few open shows. It's definitely been an interesting experience! I've been drawing a lot of cats too. If you follow my Dinosaur and Pony page you can see some of the stuff I've been working on lately!

Ooh, four events in a single week?! I'd say 'busyyyy' was a bit of an understatement. XD I hope they all went well! And having your own studio is pretty exciting, too- glad to hear it sounds like a lot of good things are happening for you right now! How are the commissions going?

The studio space is awesome, I need to remember to take a photo now that I'm mostly set up! It's great having a place to go work where I'm not distracted by laundry and be around other creative people. I've met all kinds of other artists through the studio and other events <3

Ooh, what a lovely piece! You definitely should be proud of that one. And I've been having way too much fun trying to guess all the species now, and probably proving that I'm a terrible birder in the process... Ah well. Was that for an individual, or for a nature center of some sort?
