Thanks for watching the races you guys, it's great to read your comments on the race as it happens. Sometimes I have to wonder about random.org and question my sanity if I actually pressed the roll again button...

If SilverDapples, and Kagari could let me know what modiem they would like, I will then let Sushi know so she can add them to your inventory.

Congrats everyone! I had to go to bed before the races were over and it looks like I missed some action packed racing! Prize didn't like the snow so well it seems.

Prize: *shivers* So cold...felt like I'd neveyr be wayrm again.

But the results of the flying race seemed fitting; the magic must have helped them conquer that storm!

Awesome, I always knew Journey loved to run, in fact she never stops, so I suspected she'd do well xD

Whoooo! All of the races have been so exciting and some of them so close! Congrats to everyone who won too! Those Sams worked hard for their medals!

Is this a pretty common event? I imagine they take a fair bit of set-up (to calculate the bonuses and decide on the goal number for each portion of the race, as well as making the charts and deciding on the obstacles) but I'd love to see more of them! Even if the prizes were only modiems and trade-able items, it's just a lot of fun to read.

Also, where were the animated gifs? I missed them somehow?

Right now races happen mainly during special events and every so often, although I was mentioning to Sushi the possibility of running a monthly race with a different theme/type each time.

And yes, they can be a bit of work to run and do take awhile to do, but are great fun to put together. I do have all the charts made up in Photoshop so all I have to do is change the names and obstacles before the race, which makes things a little easier.
