Im so sorry I missed it! I had to rush to the er with my kitten of 2 months. IM GUESSING, as I was not there, that he was playing with the cable to a monitor that was up on a desk and it fell on him. * I normally try to keep cords and such off the ground but we just got done moving furnature in our home and my bf didnt even realize it was hanging off the desk* He suffered minor brain damage and his neurological functions are a little off. His temperature was also down and he was having problems circulating oxygen through his body, so he was breathing speratic and making noises that just made me want to cry even more.

They asked me to come up with 1k just to keep him overnight. Since I didnt have that money and all i had was enought to cover his scan *Which I didnt really have either since i just got done doing my christmas shopping, I have to return all my gifts for now just so i can pay my rent, horrible christmas year*, incubator and the pain shots, they gave him to me to take home to see if he would survive.

he had a 50-50 chance and the night was long. I had to keep him on a constant heat source and since I had no heating pad I decided to stay with him and heat him with my body. He slept on my stomach for most of the night but kept trying to get up to move. I had to feed him with a seringe every hour and a half with water and wet kitten food.


Im functioning on 3 hrs of sleep right now and i still have 6 more hrs to work. I do have good news though. When I woke this morning, I found him under a dining room chair *they are covered chairs* with his brother, simba who apparently kept him warm when he climbed off of me in the night. I checked his temp and it was normal and his breathing returned normal. The best part was... he purred. ^_^ Im so glad hes alive and im sorry for such a long post in this thread... i just didnt want to make a whole new one for it, and its kinda the excuse for me not being able to be in the u-stream *Grats btw shlee :3*.

I went to lunch today and found him trying to play. Hes still not ALL there, but he is recovering. He walks a little funny but that is to be expected. Though I cant gift to anyone now, im still glad that my kitten is alive. *My previous kitten died unexpectedly earlier in the year and idk what i would have done if I would have lost another *cries** So... 256 dollars later Zabuza is alive and ok. ^_^


Sorry for such a long post... i just had to get it out. I love you guys and thanks for any comments and reassurances you have. I appriciate it.

I will be re-kitten proofing my home again this weekend and I pray another mishap like this can be avoided.

I hope everyone elses christmas is better and know that I love you all :3 *hugs to my friends and happy wishes*

@RikkuGirl - Oh, I just read your above post ;_____; I'm sorry your kitten got hurt, but I'm so glad he's doing better now! Vets really aren't cheap, are they o_o;

Missed it due to a game development meeting, but I'm sure it was marvelous!
