The two-hour drawing contest is also a new event. Your task? To draw something awesome related to the given theme! Your time frame? 2 hours!

On August 14, 3pm PDT the contest will start when I announce the theme that your drawing must follow. You'll have until 5pm the same day to complete and submit your work. The winners will be chosen based on quality, creativity, use of the theme, and originality

First place will get first pick, second place second pick, and third place the remaining prize. In addition, all entrants will receive a random modiem

Rules and info!

- There is a limit of one entry per person.
- You're welcome to use any 2D media.
- If you need to scan or input your image into the computer once it's complete, you have until 5:05pm to submit your image.
- Your entry must be drawn in the 2-hour timeframe and must incorporate the contest theme.
- It must all be your own work!

I'll edit this post on the 14th when the contest opens with the theme - it'll be in big letters at the top of this post When you've finished your entry, please PM it to me with the subject Only 2 hours?! I'll try my best to have the winners announced later that day, but it all depends on Baby Sushi!

Oh gods, this will be nuts... Sunday is when we have big, family-ish dinners, and we eat around 6pm (3PM PDT). Uuugh. I'm gonna have to see if I can be like "Mom? C-can we do dinner late today? D8;"

Woo! Will be a less than an hour drawing contest for me as I get home from work after 4. Hopefully I won't get pooped on by a baby barn owl and have to shower first XD

Well, you're better off than I am... my family doesn't get together often (or rather, I don't get together with my family often), but yesterday I proposed I cook a crock-pot dinner for the family for Sunday.

Naturally the time we decided to eat was 6pm EST... 3pm PDT ;P

I'm afraid since I brought the idea up in the first place, there's no backing out, so I'll have to miss this one. Crossing my fingers I'll get to compete in the writing at least, since I don't have any plans for Saturday. Good luck to everyone entering either contest

Well I only managed to get a sketch done but at least its something XD Two hours is not enough when it takes you that long to figure out posing.

I pretty much knew what I wanted to draw, I just, stink at drawing XD For the most part, haha. Pretty much due to lack of practice XD Haven't drawn in aaaaaaaaages!

Got an idea of what to draw...but not until late into the time. Managed to get something sketched, then actually outlined it, but ran out of time to try color. Ah well, I had fun with it. Wrath er...crashed a picnic and stabbed holes in all the food apparently...

I'm exactly the same way. now exactly what I want on paper but can't transfer it well due to lack of practice. I can get something decent sketched out if I have about six hours or so XD

|D I need to stop sleeping in. Waking up with half an hour to go = PANIC.
But I still managed to at least get a halfway-decent sketch done in that time. Even if my webcam does kill all the finer lines. *dies* But I still got something in! XD

I just lack proportion skills XD And since it's after ending time ...

Here's my entry of epic fail. Knew exactly what I wanted to draw right away, but with only half an hour left after returning from the fair, this was the best I could pull off. :/

Did all mine on my iPad, uploading things was ... interesting, haha. Had to get a new app, flicker account and everything! Fun tho, I've done a piece from sketch to finish on this beast!

I made it to send my pic....though I had to leave it in black and white since I had to go get my friend from work :/

I like it ill have to color it later and post it so y'all can see.
