As the Samanayr birthday celebrations start up, the race co-coordinators have decided to try something a little different this year. Instead of a regular race from start to finish, they are going to hold a cake walk. This race will run in a circle, round and round. When will the Samanayrs stop? Nobody knows!

The Race

Cake Walk

This is a ground course with special rules (see below).

There are 10 spots open for this race.

Special Rules

This race is similar to a normal ground race except it is a repeating circuit. The finish line's location will be a mystery until a set number of turns pass, at which time the finish line will appear and the race ends like normal (the first Samanayr to cross the finish line is the winner)

There will be an obstacle like in a normal race, but it will just be a simple one that Samanayrs will be going over again and again as the race goes on.

Prizes!

The best part, of course. Prizes will be assigned to the first, second, and third place racers in each race. The main prize for each place in this race is a balloon. A balloon is a globe of light attached to a string. They act like a permanent modiem, and depending on the place you win, you can choose a modiem of different point values.

Like medals, balloons are special items and can only be equipped to the Samanayr that won it. If you're borrowing a Samanayr from someone else, you'll receive the pixel balloon image for your inventory, but you won't be able to equip it to the winning Samanayr unless you give the balloon to the Samanayr's owner.
For now, a Samanayr can only wear one balloon at a time, but balloons can be equipped and unequipped. There is also no limit to how many balloons a Samanayr can win!

Also for this race, are cupcakes. These tasty treats, when used in a breeding, will give the foal(s) one of the following traits, determined randomly:
- Mini
- Vestigial feathered wings
- Folded ears
- Upright hair
- Bob tail

First place

- Balloon (any modiem)
- Cupcake

Second place

- Balloon (any 2-3 point modiem)
- Cupcake

Third place

- Balloon (any 2 point modiem)
- Cupcake

To apply for a race spot, send a PM to my account, silvermoondragon (pm’s sent to Sushidragon may get missed), with the subject as Cake Walk and the following form filled out:

This next round brings up the obstacle, a simple hurdle the Samanayrs must jump over.
