After all of our trick or treaters tonight. We got another visitor.

Our outside cat Kitkat that adopted us last year was on our front porch. We heard her get into a fight. We've had a lot of stray Tom cats beating her up lately, so I went out armed with a broom. I didn't find a tom cat, I found this little cutie.


She wasn't hurt by Kitkat, she hid under a chair to get away.
I picked her up and brought her inside. My dad, who hates cats took her from me and cuddled with her.

We are going to try and find if she belongs to anyone but O mentioned want a cat and my dad said, wel I guess you'll have to keep that one.

She is going to get a bath tomorrow, she needs to be wormed and have her ears cleaned too.
My mom says her name should be Harlaquin and call her Harley for short. (No she isn't think about Harley Quinn) I'm not sure though.

I just can't believe him. We just got two more cats in June. One was for my sister's birthday and one was for my grandma. It went to live with her, but then her and her new husband were having some issues and she moved back.in with us. They have worked things out but he won't let her take her cat back up there. So we have two inside cats at the moment. Kitkat is an outside cat.
Now we find this little one and he is basically saying we should keep her. It's just crazy haha.

I guess because this is a small town a lot of people.bring their unwanted cats here and drop them off. We have a lot of stray cats in town.
That is what we think happened with this one. With all the Halloween traffic going through town, itwas a perfect opportunity.

I wish I could have a cat. We've actually taken in stray/abandoned kittens before (3 times, two singletons and a litter of 4, to be exact), but only for a day or two. We've never been able to let them stay partially because my sister is allergic (but she'd be more then willing to take meds if it meant having a cat), but mostly because my mom dislikes cats. Luckily she let us keep them until we could find a place for them. The singletons were taken in by a friend and a co-worker respectively and the litter we took to a no-kill shelter.

Well after two weeks, no one has called to claim the kitten.
That means we keep it.
Turns out however it's a boy not a girl. Just goes to show my lack of knowledge about cats XD. Now I just need to pick out a new and less girly name hahaha.

I have been trying to figure out a name for this guy. I keep getting a name on the tip of my tongue but I can't figure out what it is. XD For now I am calling him Buddy and my sister is calling him Chubby Monkey. haha
