I don't know if anyone remembers my mom's horse Moon. I posted two years ago(wow has it really been that long) about her troubles.

Well she passed away a couple of weeks ago.
We had sent her and Hailey out to pasture for the summer with some of our friends horses. Moon was doing great at first but then started dropping weight really fast. She passed away before we could get the vet out to look at her or even bring her home. My mom is heartbroken. Moon was her best friend. She had her for about 20 years.
We were going to bury her in the small pasture we have behind our house but the person going to dig the hole said that our neighbors might not like that. So he said he would take her to his farm (he owns and runs one of the near by dairys) and bury her there. He told my mom that way she would be buried nicely and not thrown in a dump somewhere.
At least she was with us for two more years after her accident.


Hailey is having a little bit of a hard time being by herself. We had to bring her home because the person that owned the pasture we were renting, sold it without telling us until it was full of cows.
We have been spending more time with her but she is lonely.
We are thinking of breeding her next year though so that might help.

Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you guys at least got to spend a couple more years with her. I hope Hailey, your mom, and you feel better soon!

Sorry for your fam's loss. Loosing a pet/family member is never fun or easy. But remember the good times and the happy so all don't get down and out on the sad of the passing. She was a lovely horse and a great fam member from what you have told us so be happy and look to the GREAT future with Hailey. ^_^ Always voice if you need. I'm so sorry for the loss. Hugs to you and your family. It's never easy to lose a loved one, four-legged or two-legged.

Sorry to hear *Hugs* I hope you all can overcome a loss like that. I just had to put my pit down and I was not happy about that, so I can feel your pain, truly. <333 Stay strong and remember her! That's the best you can do. <3
