Song of Endless Sands

The endless sands of the desert have given way to rough pebbles underfoot as you approach a series of low cliffs and bluffs dotted with countless canyons. A small equine creature stands at the mouth of one of those canyons scenting the night air. As you approach he turns and watches you carefully. A pair of nervous eyes can just be seen staring at you over his shoulder, the rest of the second equine hidden by his bushy mane and the canyon's shadows. Neither speaks as you pass on by.
