Samanayrs

I've been having a lot of fun with some of the Sam games floating around the forum, enough that I thought I'd throw another one into the mix! My favorites are always the ones that deal with the Sams themselves. Pretty things. ^_^

"Lonely Ladies" is similar to the Matchmaker thread, except that everyone can participate and 'advice' is not solicited by the owners of the mare themselves. In fact, the owner doesn't even have to be active in the community at present! Their lady is nominated by someone else for a 'night of love' (at least, in the imagination of the matchmaker). Only one stallion can be provided to sweep the lady off her feet. Also, explain your choice! Here are the rules.

- The nominated mare must be Songless in the database.
- The suggested stallion may not be the leader of a full Song.
- One stallion may be nominated for each mare, no more. Ahh, decisions! Make sure you explain your reasoning.
- You must nominate a mare after each suggestion.
- You don't have to own any of the Sams in question.
- None of this is anything more than a game, but who knows... maybe people will get ideas? *shrug*

I'll start off with an example of a pairing that is soon to be a reality!

Nominee: Flit of the Darting Snow

She's a fluffy Northern lady, pure white and all alone!

Suggested Stallion: Journey of the New Sun

Reasoning: They're both pure Northerns and I love to see pairings stay true to a species. The art styles are very close, which is a bonus for me. Also, they would look just lovely together, her brilliant white and his touches of sunny spectrum!

Nominee: Rainfall of the Sunlit Noon

A pure Samanayr girl with a healthy lineage behind her and some crazy patterns!

Energy of the Brilliant Day just seems so... perfect for her! His colors complement hers brilliantly, and on top of that, both of them have something relating to a time of day in their name (Noon and Day. It made more sense in my head... XP).


Sting of the Winter Wasp is a pure Samanayr Mare who's name fits perfectly. Any good stallions out there for her?

Stallion Suitor: Circle of the Eclipsed Moon

This boy will be able to pursue her in the air, on the ground, wherever! They are both winged and both strongly touched with red while having a lovely white base. The black and green will only accent nicely.


Lonely Mare: Prize of the Bright Ruby

She's lonely in miniature! This pretty little lady needs some lovins. <3

Potential Stallion:


Because he's also mini, and I think a song full of mini Samanayrs would be sooo cute!

Suggested Stallion: Ripple of the Distant Ocean

Their colors go beautifully together, they're both pure Sa'grisayrs, and Kryos is around if not active. So, so pretty. <3

Nominee: Cry of the Stubborn Snow

Young, Northern, and colorful!

Potential Stallion:

Also a Northern, rainbows go well with everything, and he also has some red spots

Very hairy and gorgeous!

*giggles* Oh, she would be so insanely outraged at the thought of being paired up with anything. Kodyla can't be in Songs. Making this an extra lonely and funny matching! *waits to see*

Stallion:

Because Charm of the Sterling Prince is the only Kodyla stallion in the database. XD

Potential Stallion:

She just seems like a deserty mare and would go well with a desert sam, and their colours fit nicely.

A simple Samanayr mare with beautiful colors

I think their colors would go wonderfully together, and he looks like such a fun-loving guy! Lakota's active too, I believe.

Potential Stallion:

Because they both have lovely zebra-like stripes that would go very nicely together.

Nominee:

This girl's spiky and very unique, one of a kind.

Stallion:

Because Climber of Mingling Hues is just as unique as she is.

Nominee:

Mystic of the Frigid Waters is one of the very few songless Mystics, and probably is the only one belonging to someone who is still active. >_> *pokes LakotaWolf*

I adore him. I don't know why, but I do. Their colors would look great together, I think, and it looks like Mystic could use a little cheering up. <3



Now, who could tame this young lady?

Potential Stallion:

Who better to tame a sa'krien than another sa'krien, and they have similar colouring.

Nominee:

A lovely tendril finned watery girl.

Stallion:

Because Tide is a water elemental, and water goes well with aquatic. :3

Nominee:

Gorgeous Desert girl with a Mystic for a father.

Stallion:

Pure Desert foals, and I think this lady would probably feel most at home with another Desert. She also knows about Mystic culture thanks to her sire and would probably be a very supportive mare for him.

Nominee:

Pretty in pink, all dolled up... and no one to go with!

Potential Stallion:

With the feathers in her hair, she must like feathers, so I picked a stallion with lots of feathers .

Stallion:

While I personally think that Plume would be an excellent choice for her as well, this boy would also make a good match. Glow of Sunlit Clouds is the leader of the Song of the Ethereal Heavens, an all-winged Song currently seeking two more mares. Their colors would go beautifully together.

Nominee:

Fluffy, vibrantly colored, and a 'natural' Samanayr rather than a Northern. I know there are some boys out there that would go perfectly with her!

Potential Stallion:

They're both fluffy and I think their colours, although different, would match nicely.

Stallion:

Oh, I've thought this boy would go well with her for ages! He leads a citrus-themed Song with himself and his lemony mare the only two at present. An orange would probably be more than welcome!

A funky and yet beautiful mare. I've always thought that she was a great example of Frankensam at its best.

Potential Stallion:

This guy's also a frankensam, and they both have swirls.

Nominee:

I just looove this girl's colours!

Minis need more love

And I see my girls are quite popular in this game so far - the one with Rainfall might be nice; I do want her to go with a stallion who has stripey legs - must keep the stripey legs!

And someone posted while I typed... and I think it's an even better match, so I will keep my choice the same XD

He has one spot left open in his Song, Myrror can still be found online, and really... they're precious together. xD

She's so insanely colorful! And I love her flopped, laid-back pose.

Stallion:

Pulse's colors go very well with her's, and he doesn't seem to have a distinctly energetic personality.

Simply gorgeous mini mare. Isn't she just adorable? :3
