Samanayr name: Music of the Open Plains
Gender: Mare
Species: Samanayr
Age: Getting past her prime now, but still rather perky and upbeat.

Likes: The wide, uninterrupted plains of her birthplace, cloudless skies, and the sound of blades of grass rubbing together.
Dislikes: Getting sand in her fur, getting really wet, and being hungry.
Fears: Being trapped, intense cold, snakes.
Favorite color: A coppery gold.
Odd fact: She has an abnormally long tongue, which comes in handy for grabbing the leaves far out of reach of other Samanayrs. It does seem to freak out some though, so she doesn't make use of it in crowds.

Samanayr name: Plunge of Burning Skies
Gender: Stallion
Species: Lamanayr
Age: Young adult, though he acts more like a rambunctious colt.

Physical description:
He may look rather lanky at first glance, but this brightly coloured stallion has tough, ropey muscles beneath the blue-speckled white fur. His wings are a point of personal pride, and he flares them to show off to cute mares, and to frighten some of the more unintelligent predators, while his mop of bright red hair is one of his most annoying features, and refuses to lay flat on his head.
Personality:
Flamboyant, rambunctious, not afraid to have fun and try new things. Has quite the mischievous streak. Despite this he is fiercely protective of the mares in his song, and would die before letting harm come to any of them. His first, and pale and painfully shy Desert by the name of Echo, holds a special place in his heart.
Abilities:
Does the ability to get himself into constant trouble count? He is rather speedy in flight, if somewhat clumsy when it comes to the more acrobatic side of flying.

Likes: Being around his mares, playing tag in the mists of his mountainous territory, and eating sweet berries. He also loves foals.
Dislikes: Being threatened, grumpy Sams, and ones with no sense of humour.
Aspirations and goals: To have more children.
Fears: Something bad happening to his mares.
Favorite color: White
Odd fact: He falls out of the sky. Alot.

Samanayr name: Echo of Faded Earth
Gender: Mare
Species: Desert
Age (foal, yearling, young adult, adult): Young adult, around the same age as Plunge, though she acts older than him.

Physical description:
As a partial Albino, Echo has very pale, muted coloration on her body which make her startling red eyes even more unnerving. Her wings are incredibly soft, and her ears seem almost too large for her head. Her hair is very thin, and white to the point of almost being see-through.
Personality:
Despite being the lead mare in the song of the Uninhibited, Echo is very, very shy, sticking close to her mate at all times and only very rarely leaving their volcanic hot-springs. She is hard to befriend, and in fact it is more likely that she will be drawn out of her shell in annoyance or anger than in trust.
Abilities (magical and otherwise): Flight.

Song: Song of the Uninhibited

Likes: Quiet days relaxing in the springs. The sweet red berries she sometimes finds or is brought by Plunge.
Dislikes: The dark, being alone, loud noises.
Aspirations and goals: Staying alive? Not being quite so scared, perhaps...
Fears: Everything.
Favorite color: Reds of any shade.
Odd fact: She enjoys playing pranks on Plunge, but is absolutely terrified of Dance.

Samanayr name: Odyssey of the Drifting Leaf
Gender: Mare
Species: Samanayr
Age (foal, yearling, young adult, adult): Young adult, probably around her early 20's in human years.

Physical description:
Tall, rather lanky but strong, she is a product of her travelling lifestyle. Her pack carries a variety of useful knick-knacks, as well as usually several tradable items and a few snacks.
Personality:
A bit of a strange thing, she spends most of her time by herself or with the various friendlier animals she comes across in her travels.
Abilities (magical and otherwise):
She had phenomenal endurance, and can travel on-end longer than most other sams. She is relatively speedy on her feet, and her eyesight isn't half bad either.

Song: Song of the Springtime Haven

Likes: Running, discovering and befriending different animals, collecting random oddities for her pack.
Dislikes: Being stuck in one place or being in the centre of a crowd.
Aspirations and goals: To see every corner of the world before she settles.
Fears: Breaking a leg, or in any other way stranding herself in one place.
Favorite color: Varying shades of green.
Odd fact: She has quite the extensive collection of colourful, shiny beetle carapaces, butterfly/dragonfly wings, and discarded feathers.

Samanayr name: Fury of the Cheated Hunter
Gender: Mare
Species: Samanayr
Age: Adult, in the prime of life.

Physical description: Animal Mimic - Cheetah
Personality: Cocky, snarky, and absolutely full of herself. She isn't a braggart, in fact she's not particularly social at all outside her song, but she knows without a shred of doubt that she is better than you. And if you argue otherwise, she may just shred you.
Abilities (magical and otherwise): Faster than most ordinary Samanayr.
History: TBA

Likes: Twilight, gold (especially in jewellery form).
Dislikes: Slow-pokes, vegetables. The stupid bird who won't stop following her. >{
Aspirations and goals: Have foals fast enough to keep up with her. Show her superiority.
Fears: Growing old and slow.
Favorite color: Gold.
Odd fact: Preferred diet is meat, but she draws the line at cannibalism.

Bio: Odd little bird who has taken to following Fury around. Is lucky he hasn't been eaten yet.

Samanayr name: Wyrd of the Blood Moon
Gender: Stallion
Species: Samanayr
Age: Adult, on the youngish side.

Physical description: Blood-red legs fade upwards into deepest black, hosting a chaos of stars. Hooves are opalescent red, barring the hind left which is black. Horns and spines are transparent, and catch rainbows in even the faintest light. Eyes are a deep crimson, heavily edged with black.
Personality: Markedly eccentric, Wyrd has a tendency to mix up his tenses while speaking and is completely nocturnal. He is direct to a fault, has little concept of delicacy, and often refers to himself in the third person.
Abilities (magical and otherwise): Can find his way faultlessly using only the stars, and can also use them to tell the time.
History: TBA

Song: Song of the Blood Bond

Likes: Stars, intelligence, things he doesn't know.
Dislikes: Bright sunlight, excessive heat.
Aspirations and goals: ~
Fears: Loosing his mind to sanity.
Favorite color: Red.
Odd fact:Has a 'fetish' for Sa'krien, or Samanayr who show the same kind of traits.

Samanayr name: Pet Tamer Rush of the Tidal Dragon
Gender: Stallion
Species: Samanayr
Age: Young Adult

Physical description: TBA
Personality: Completely consumed by his work with his dragonets, Rush often forgets to eat or sleep. Spends his every waking minute training his two current dragonets, caring for and monitoring clutches they find, and finds complete joy in each new thing he learns about his little friends. Occasionally, he finds time for his mares too.
Abilities (magical and otherwise): Affinity with animals, especially dragonets.
History: TBA

Song: Song of the Inspired Spontaneity

Likes: Animals, the ocean, his mares.
Dislikes: Cruel Samanayr, Sa'krien, things that take him away from his job.
Aspirations and goals: To bond with more creatures.
Fears: Being alone. Losing a clutch.
Favorite color: The green-blue of the ocean.
Odd fact: Rush is a very very good swimmer.

Calling: Misa
Bio: Somewhat petulant and a little spoilt, Misa was egg-raised by Rush and was his very first dragonet. She is life-bonded with Shio, and is very possessive.


Calling: Shio
Bio: An eager and excitable little guy, Shio loves adventure, and is always the first to find new clutches. Shio was found with a broken wing, and was nursed back to health by Rush. He is life-bonded to Misa, and though sometimes he gets quite annoyed by her Shio would never have chosen another.

Samanayr name: Frenzy of the Daunting Dusk
Gender: Stallion
Species: Samanayr
Age (foal, yearling, young adult, adult): Adult.

Physical description: TBA
Personality: Silently angry at the rest of the world, Frenzy is antisocial and goes looking for danger on a daily basis. Much like a bodyguard-for-hire, he hires himself out to songs, getting rid of bothersome or aggressive Oquiesa or worse creatures in return for food and valuable items. Will take on other Samanayr as well, without even blinking.
Abilities: TBA
History: Long, tragic, and TBA.

Likes: Drowning his nagging memory in violence and Sharian-brewed spirits.
Dislikes: The past. Other Samanayr. Oquiesa.
Aspirations and goals: None.
Fears: His memories.
Favorite color: Earthy brown.
Odd fact: Frenzy's necklace holds trophies (a tooth or claw) from every Oquiesa kill he's ever been a part of.

Samanayr name: Healer of the Millennium Wish
Gender: Mare
Species: Healer Illiayr Sa'grisayr Rider
Age: Youngish adult.

Physical description: A soot-grey base is messily striped with black and a brilliant orange, with strikingly white feathers tipping her ears and the pale hue also decorating her talons, spines, solid eyes and throat mane. The same dark soot colors her wings, decorated with stripes of black and a lighter grey. The long, trailing fancy feathers fade from a deep blue to a a blue-violet, with 'eyes' of purest white surrounded by the burning orange-reds of a flame. Her beak is a soft powder-grey. The harness she wears is hung with several small stoppered bottles which contain dreaming tonics and draughts, as well as regular medicinal and pain relieving elixirs.
Personality: A rather enigmatic soul, Healer travels the globe 'granting wishes'. She finds those who are lost, and helps any in pain, whether it be spiritual or physical. She works her hardest on helping other Samanayrs realize what it is that they truly need rather than want, providing a guiding word or enlightening dream-via-tonic. However, she never stays for more than a moment once her work is done, always in a hurry to help someone else. Most of her help goes to those that are normally overlooked, those who live in places too desolate or inaccessible to regular healers.
Abilities (magical and otherwise): Ability to heal small physical wounds and ease troubled minds without the use of her more powerful tonics. Her tonics and draughts are created using both natural and Sharian-bought ingredients, and she will infuse them with her own healing magic over the course of days or weeks so that they can boost her own power in an emergency.
History: TBA

Song: None, as a Healer she will not join a song.

Likes: Helping others, the feeling of the wind in her feathers, starry nights.
Dislikes: Jealousy, spite, feeling/being trapped.
Aspirations and goals: To help any Sam that needs her.
Fears: Inadvertently causing pain, or worse, death.
Favorite color: Purest, cleanest white.
Odd fact: When Healer is riding at night, her bioluminescence creates a kind of 'shooting star' effect, by which she got her name. She can sense wishes made on her, and uses this sense to guide her to where her help is needed.

Calling: O'arth
Bio: O'arth is a large Feline reminiscent of a sabertooth in build and feature; heavy-built, made for endurance but not at all lacking in speed. Large paws equipped with deadly claws, and a small fluffy bobbed tail. His fiery orange-red eyes are large, slit-pupiled, giving him excellent night-vision, and his dense chocolate-brown fur is specifically suited to icy weather. His coat is smattered with leopard-like markings in black and a striking purple.
O'arth is naturally stubborn and wilful, but utterly loyal and full of a kitten-like playfulness that belies her somewhat frightening appearance.

Calling: Qi
Bio:Just your classic Kreensa dragonet, Qi is equipped with leathery wings, articulate little talons, a long but unadorned reptilian tail, and two pointed back-facing black horns. His eyes are slightly larger than average, and a striking royal blue against his pale orange body. His stomach fades to palest white, while the orange darkens and deepens toward the edge of his wings and tail. A smattering of black freckle-spots marks his back and the edge of his wings.
Intelligent and adept at what he does, Qi can have Healer and O'arth equipped and un-equipped in a flat minute. However, he is prone to fits of sullenness and insecurity.

Nickname: Sparks
Gender: Mare
Species: Mystic
Age: Foal

Physical description:
Gangly and off-balance without the aid of a tail, Sparks bears a grey-white coat, with chalk-white hooves and mane that make the brilliant red of her solid eyes and short mystic strands really stand out. A red spectral glow trails from her eyes, and tendrils of black smoke risen from small vents on her back, the smoke getting thicker the stronger her emotions are.
Personality:
Somewhat shy, Sparks is a curious foal, who abounds with questions and is easily thrilled by new things. However, her body is quite weak, and she tires quickly with physical activity.
Abilities (magical and otherwise):
The clouds of smoke she produces are just your basic wood-smoke, if slightly oilier, and can take on faint scents depending on her diet. Has so-far discovered only negligible powers over fire.
History:
Sparks was last-born to her mother, a frail older mare who died during childbirth. Her father loved her, as a new father should, but mourned her mother passionately as she had been his lead and first love. Their tenuous relationship was worsened when her eyes first opened to reveal a demonic glow that he had never before seen a Samanayr possess. It made him wary, and resentful that his mare had died giving birth to something that bore such an 'evil' mark. The mystic strands that should have been a blessing brought fire to her belly, whose burn produced cough-inducing clouds of black smoke that she was still too young to understand or control. The other mares whispered of ghosts and demons and of changeling foals, they complained of her smoke making them sick and weak. Her father, out of desperation and confusion and a pervasive resentfulness, wished for help and guidance.
His wish was granted.
Sparks now travels with Healer of the Millennium Wish, who calls her only 'foal' or 'child' and is more 'Kind Mentor' than 'Parent'.

Likes: Little fires, flowers, autumn leaves, sunrises and sunsets, colourful things, poofy clouds, asking questions.
Dislikes: Negative emotions, storms, stinging insects.
Aspirations and goals: The unconditional love of a family.
Fears: The dark.
Favorite color: All of them!
Odd fact: Sparks loves to sing~ (But she really can't carry a tune well. So... Yeah.)
