Seems like adoptables have exploded since I was last active on the site o_o Can anyone explain the horse game a few of you seem to be playing? I'm intrigued!

Do you mean personal stables where we adopt and breed different equine species and breeds? :3

Yeah, that! A few years ago I saw a gryphon game where you had to draw your character and you roleplayed with them and drew them as they grew etc, is it similar?

It's a kinda go at your own pace thing. Depending on the breed, you can either either make a starter or breed one from existing. Normally you need to do some sort of picture for the breeding of the sire and dam. Then you get to design your foal! If you go into the Nordanner breed you get two genetics to choose from and design it from those. Then you just draw your horse however you want, show it, earn points in your breed groups to achieve special awards, that kind of thing. Some groups have time constraints, like you must do a reference within 30 days of the design. Your reference is where you keep track of things like pedigree, basic bio, breedings, etc (or use a journal). I enjoy it when I have time, but as of late I've been completely lacking in enthusiasm to draw. XD

If you want to get into it, you are welcome to go through my stable, and if there are any you want to breed let me know! I'll make sure they have slots available. ^_^

I went to check mine (pretty sure it's asara-dragoness), and found that I can't get on dA right now for some reason. According to their facebook page, I'm not alone. But I will add to the watching when that gets fixed!
