Surgery complete!
I finally had my ACL reconstruction surgery yesterday! It went great and I can already move around pretty well, although it hurts a lot more than the last surgery XD;
I'm taking it easy for now but hope to be back to drawing fairly soon. I still need to get on those Spring Fling prizes and the June birthstone Sam!

Re: Surgery complete!
Well, 2 weeks later the pain isn't as bad as it was, but I'm still totally exhausted and trying to fit in 3 hours worth of doctor-ordered exercises/stretching each day D: By the time I'm done with all that I don't have the energy to drag myself downstairs to draw, so I'm probably still going to be pretty slow for the next while. Unfortunately the June birthstone Sam will be delayed but she is drawn, just need to ink and color her. Going to try to get some drawing in at nap time tomorrow.
I do have some Sams and pets to give away so will try to think of something fun to do! If you have any suggestions or ideas that'd be great XD;

I'm glad the pain is lessening, anyway! Though all the physical therapy does sound completely exhausting; I hope everything starts going better with that as well!
As for events...we haven't had a random Expedition or a Photo Hunt in quite some time! ^^ Or if you'd like to have some Guest Artist events as well, maybe an Object Mimic or Song/Picture/Name inspiration draw?

Re: Surgery complete!
Ooh, it has been a long time since we've had a photo hunt..
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone, I'll try to get something going this weekend
Got the June Sam inked during nap time today so just need to get her colored now! Then need to make the Spring Fling prizes because I didn't plan adequately ahead D:

Re: Surgery complete!
As of tomorrow I no longer have to do 3 hours of physio every day (yay!) so that will free up some time XD However, I'm thinking of delaying the breeding season until August to really give myself some time to catch up and relax, which.. I haven't been able to do this month. I feel bad delaying it again but between the recovery and insomnia I've been feeling really burned out D:

Yay!
August sounds good to me. Get some rest. I hope your recovery continues to go well.
