Money order isn't a problem. For reasons beyond my comprehension, SingPost carries money orders for Canada, but not America. *staaare* (Sorry, Nat, Jenn, etc. I think you've heard me enumerate the problem before.)

I'm told mail would take 2 - 3 weeks to reach Canada, by air.

Sushi, I got my Oath in the mail Monday night. She's just GORGEOUS in person! I love the plastic they come in as well. It's so nice to be able to admire the colored pencil work up close. And the handwritten note was so previous. I really appreciated that. The packaging was a little tough for me to open (mostly because I'm a packaging tard. >_>) but the charm is SO CUTE.

I named my little phoenix Chiki P. and I wore him all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. I got a lot of compliments on him, so I did a little word-of-mouth advertising for you. <3

Okay, we got home a little later than I thought we would, so I'm going to be putting them up for sale tomorrow. I'll start listing at about 1pm PST.

I'm actually going to sell them on the forum instead of in my Etsy shop this time. I'm not too pleased with some of the things they've done lately and would prefer not to pay them more fees at this time XD The cost of shipping will still be the same.

What's Etsy doing, Sushi? I was considering opening a shop there to sell my paintings. If they're doing stupid stuff, then I'd like to know about it, because I have several friends who are considering too!

Well, Etsy's big on featuring shops on the front page, in gift guides, and so on that they feel fit into the 'Etsy style.' It can be very difficult for new sellers to get the exposure they tend to give to the same shops/styles over and over. This isn't too big of a deal, but for the holidays they've introduced a big orange 'Gift Guides' button on every page, including seller shops, which takes potential customers away from the seller's shop and to the admin-selected gift guides. Since Etsy doesn't really do any advertising of their own and it's all up to the individual shop owners to advertise FOR Etsy and get people into their stores, this isn't cool.

It's a decent enough place, but I'm still currently trying to set up my shop on my own website XD If I'm going to be going through all of the trouble and money to advertise, I'd like that advertising to be done for me!

Sorry to hear that Etsy isn't really working that well for you. So how is the sale going to happen on the forum and since they are not on Etsy, has the price of the cards changed? *interested in quite a few*
