March Meadow Triathlon

My first triathlon. I'm so excited. Good luck everyone.

*bounces in place* Wheeee!

(I might have had caffeine later than I was supposed too >> Oops?)

The triathlon racers stand ready at their places, waiting for the cue from the race coordinator or from their partners to begin their neck of the race.

[Jaes]

Go sams go!

Our first round has our first obstacle, a pair of nesting geese, a little upset to have Samanayrs swimming through their territory.

[Jaes]

Yay! Good luck everyone!

[tierasa]

Let's go team Jentieretta!

[silvermoondragon]

Splish splash the Samanayrs swim through the pond. One quick racer has made it through the water portion and onto the flying section!

[silvermoondragon]

Slowly the rest of the racers begin to reach the end of the aquatic portion, their flying counterparts waiting eagerly in anticipation.

[tierasa]

Man this is a tricky course. *keeps fingers crossed*

[silvermoondragon]

Some of our leading racers in the flying section are now coming across our second obstacle, a tricky cross breeze. How will our racers deal with this next challenge?


and distracting parrot is distracting...

[tierasa]

I think we must have gotten tangled in some kelp.

*prods her team* I don't think Shifter wants to get out of the water, and Mist doesn't seem to want to fly tonight XD

As our last aquatic participant leaves the pond, our first ground racer sets out on their portion.

@Lv - hmm, it does kind of look like that XD I just put them like that so it doesn't look like one Samanayr has just disappeared when they swap spots.

[tierasa]

And now, my Mystic is up. Let's hope her fire skills come in handy and she avoids any branches.

Our third obstacle has come into play, a series of gopher holes, some even containing angry gophers within.

Whack-a-mole time!

On go our racers, working their hardest to make it to the finish.

[tierasa]

Go Vibrance go! Good job, Mystic of the Swirling Steam. Go Jentieretta!

Good job Mist! Come on Erosion! Run run run as fast as you can!

As our last racers begin to finish up the air portion, things start to intensify as Samanayrs start to near the finish. We could have our winners any moment now!

Come on, Vibrance. You can do it!

And with this round, our first team crosses the finish line, but our potential second and third place teams are growing.

I just have to comment though, that I think a third eye on Flood with her demon touched eyes could be really cool...
