Pretty much, yes. For the dragon he's based on they serve to help focus and store magic. For the Sam...I've not decided if they do the same or if they're just decorative. He's such a pretty boy, yes he is!

Misery: *curls into a ball* Tell me when she's gone and stoped humiliating me.

And he must be in a good mood. He's ignoring me rather than threatening me.

Copper: *hops up on Misery's side and sits, wagging his tails* Gonna watch, gonna watch, good boy!
Misery: *groans and curls up tighter*

I love his ears and tail with the fluffy coat and tail rings. ^__^ What a fantastic custom!

*chuckles* I have to remember that while the dragon is eight feet tall, longer than a bus, and fully able to pick me up and remove me...the Sam is knee high and a bit less inclined to start with threats. At least while he's just feeling annoyed rather than mad... *eyes him cautiously*

Right now though...he would be quite happy if you'd pick Copper up and snuggle with him for awhile.

Misery: Just...make him stop dancing on me. *flattens ears and looks generally grumpy*

Ooh, I was wondering if she would be a Tribal! I love the markings you chose for her; any plans on trying to get her to be a Storyteller sometime?

I do want to make her a Storyteller! She loves entertaining others... The silver charm on her forepaw is a sun; a nod to the "Raven steals the Sun" story of how the people got fire.

And besides... she'd get more shineys.

Oooh, she is very nice! I too was wondering if she'd be a Tribal as it seemed very fitting for the design you posted. She's very lovely and elegant in her bold simplicity of markings. And has lovely taste in trinkets.

Makes me wonder if anyone would dare to try trading with Misery for the shineys he could create if so inclined (in a purely RP sense of course). He finds manipulating stone and metal soothing...but dealing with others anywhere from annoying to infuriating. Is the chance of a trinket from him worth the risk of dealing with a Misery?

Hehe, I think that would be a really fun idea for a RP Origami! And if the Sam in question was trying to fix an accessory that was 'broken,' you wouldn't even have to worry about the trinket not actually existing...though, I would like to see what Misery would come up with for a design on his own. *grins*

And good luck getting Trickster to be a Storyteller! It just seems like a natural fit, and her sun charm is definitely a nice touch; and now that I really want to get out some of my mythology books again... XD

Ah, would depend on his mood and feelings on the matter. He made his tail bands, but he likes the simple smooth shine of metal. Normally he'd lean towards making smooth bands like that, or else simple geometric patterns. In a light mood, deeply entranced by the soothing flow of magic...still geometric but more lacy, things like snowflakes or crystalline structures. Rigid patterns, but intricate. If he actually warmed up to someone enough to respect, or like them (unlikely but possible)...whatever they could describe to him. He's not exactly the most creative thinker, even if he does seek out learning (from books and scrolls anyways; they don't require interactions with others). Copper had had any number of metal or gem balls and other toys to play with though.

If anyone would be interested in RPing one of their Sams daring the mountain climb to ask Misery for aid just let me know!


And a Storyteller job for a Sam based on a legend? What could be better?

Looks like Healer squeaked in by a nose! I've updated the customs page with their price As the page says, any non-magical species can be a Healer, so Lamanayr Healer, Northern Healer, etc. You can't have a Mystic Healer, Elemental Healer, etc.

Is the price for the Healer in addition to the other species price (like with Mystics and Miseries), or would you use the formula for combination species? Or something different?

Oops, good point, they should have been priced as an add-on cost XD The price has been changed to 'add $25,' so like Mystics and Miseries you'd add that to the price of the custom's other species(es).
