After the night had flown and the morn's glint was shown, Tierasa discovers a new friend upon reaching home.

In the mouth of our civet-seeming mare rests a little basket with note inside - 'And I'm impressed by your speedy wits, etc... etc...' Oh, there's also a Species Modium with one colorful little cookie nestled beside.

In a similar little basket, mysteriously left for Operetta to uncover, is a Trait Modium, cookie, and bit of script that remarks, 'Why? The two of you should be able to discover!'

Then the third, left surreptitiously for Kentouma to find, contains a Rarity Modium alongside our cookie to say, 'As your spirit amidst trial is one of a kind.'

Now shortly finding himself in want of a new neighbor, and with more than a few choice opportunities strolling past, this next lovely owl decided Nighthenge would be the last. "Helloooo!" he hoots, "Would a cookie help win your favor?"

But not to be outdone by the events witnessed that night, a fifth basket is taken up by another creature of flight. With quiet determination and no need for a show, the following stallion catches up to RikkuGirl with his cookie gift in tow.

And to the rest who participated in our contest, left upon the knoll, is a last little basket of Colorful Critter Cookies, heaped overfull!

What are these mysteriously colorful confections?

Well, when eaten by a mare with foal, her offspring will look remarkably akin to a similar furry or flighty animal friend, only patterned and colored after dam and sire - or or so the recipe claims as its goal.

And yes, Seren has the idea, the Colorful Critter Cookies will produce fantasy colored animal mimics! Or as fantastically colored as the dam and sire are, at least.

A huge thank you to Rythe for putting this together! When I asked if he wanted to do an event for the festival I had noooo idea it was going to be something like this, and I was totally blown away XD Congrats to all of the winners and I'm glad everyone had fun deciphering the riddle.. and eating some delicious rainbow cookies (which I will someday have a better image for)!
