Holiday "Bound" - A Track and Field Celebration?

This event is part ability and part random, similar to the caber toss event a while ago. There are two categories; Bound's Long Jump and Glimpse's High Jump which will operate slightly differently from each other. Both will require a combination of strength and agility to win! Samanayrs that enter either competition will have to be physically able to compete on land - unfortunately, this means no aquatics or northern aquatics. Samanayrs with wings are allowed to enter, however in the interest of fairness their wings will be tied down to level the playing field.
The Long Jump
Each Samanayr entered into the Long Jump competition will be asked to make a series of three leaps from the starting line. The length of those three leaps will be added together for the total length. They will repeat the process again and the longer of their two sets will be used for scoring. The Samanayr who can bound the farthest wins!
There will be ten (10) slots in the Long Jump competition.
The High Jump
Each Samanayr entered into the High Jump competition will be asked to make an ever-more difficult series of jumps. For the first jump the bar will be set at a height that nearly any Samanayr could make, but in each round the bar will be set higher and higher, eliminating Samanayrs that don't make the jump, until there is only one winner!
There will also be ten (10) slots in the High Jump competition.
Rules!
- There is a limit of one entry per person--you'll have to pick which event you want to try!
- The Samanayr you enter must be one that you own, unless you borrow one from someone else.
- Similar to races, you do not have to be present to win! (Although I will post the results of each round for those that are interested!)
