Believe it or not, Samanayrs are 10 years old this month! I sure can't believe it XD; To see how far we've come since then, check out these Sams from 1999:

To celebrate the Samanayr's 10th birthday, join us for a week of events and fun! Maybe not a million events, but still a lot XD Below is a brief schedule, and there's more information on each event in their individual posts!

There's just a couple of rules that apply to this entire event, so please make sure you read them!

- Each person can win a maximum of one Samanayr in randomly-determined events. However, there is no limit to how many Sams you can win in the events where a winner is chosen.
- Please only enter events on the PI or Samanayr forums, not both. Feel free to share your entries in both places, though

Think you know what all of the Samanayrs look like? Well, you may have an idea of the looks of all of the PI Sams.. but there are now 971 Samanayrs in total in the database XD You'll have to dig through a lot of images to find the Sam you're looking for!

This game will take place randomly on PI and the Sam forums. When a new round starts, I or one of my helpers will post a cropped image of a Samanayr. The first person to post the Sam's name wins! If the Sam isn't guessed after a while, hints will be given, such as a trait it has, its gender, species, etc. It's up to the discretion of the person running the round to decide when hints will be given and what the hints will be XD

The first person to guess the Samanayr will get a point. After the birthday celebrations, you'll be able to trade your points in for prizes! More information on redeeming points will be provided then.

Modiems/tradeable items - In points, these cost as much as their value (eg, a species modiem costs 3 points)
Semi-custom - 10 points (pick up to 4 colors)
Custom - 15 points (Samanayr, up to 2 common/uncommon traits, one small accessory)
Fancy custom - 25 points (any common or uncommon species, up to 2 common/uncommon/rare traits, one small accessory)
