Sam's Likes/Dislikes: She likes the smell of fruit that's just slightly overripe; the feel of sand shifting erratically under her feet as she walks slowly across a beach towards water; and the way her hot spring causes little swirls of mist in the cold dawn light. She dislikes the way a bitter leaf somehow sneaks its way into her meal every now and again; the loud, taunting sounds birds make over and over again whenever you're looking for them and can't actually find them; and her natural farsightedness.
Why should your Sam be picked?: It may be based on their similar body types, but I can see them enjoying many of the same things together; lazy midday naps, idle conversations that inevitably end up making you laugh the most- that sort of thing. Strangely though, it's their differences that make them seem more suited to each other to me- his bright colors would make him easier for her to see, and consequently add a little more joy to her life, while her trunk with its adept sense of smell would no doubt help him find the best meals.

Flight enjoys, well, flying! And singing, mostly by himself though, as his oddly-shapped beak gives him a strong, odd accent. He also enjoys sunsets, much more than sunrises. He carries a strong dislike for big, rough Sams, and gets very upset when people comment on his beak/speech-impediment.
Why should your sam be picked?:
Flight would love to have someone to whom he could sing to and not be afraid that they would mock him for it. Though his mares satisfy some of his need for companionship, even they have difficulty understanding him some of the time, and he want's someone who doesn't need to hear words, merely the melody and feeling behind them.
Also, just look at the colours. |D I can totally see the little guy looking up at Flight from the corner, and Flight looking down at him, sharing a moment.
