Thank you :D He took me forever, but I need to make him a friend!

Although my next goal is to try and secretly make a stuffed Enterprise for my boyfriend, who's a big Star Trek fan XD

AWH. You should use like...aqua lame' (that shiny silvery fabric?) for the nacels (the stripes of the engines on the bits that stick out the back).

Lawl. *nerd*

Hopefully he doesn't secretly stalk the forum, otherwise it's not a secret anymore ;)

As far as I know he doesn't read the forum, he's very often confused by adoptables XD

I am so silly. >.> I thought this said 'Suers' as in... sueing someone for money...

Nacelles are usually along the leading edge of an engine cowling, to streamline the air and lead it into a jet turbine. I'm not sure what you'd call the photon thrusters on the back of the Enterprise. Exhaust? Part of the cowling? I guess that would depend on the version of Enterprise being made. Although, to see it in action, it's probably some sort of heat reduction mechanism that glows like that.

OMG, WHY am I dissecting the inner workings of the Enterprise's engine systems?!?! I should probably hush now, and go back to my homework. My nerd is showing. *blush*

ETA: I know why. I secretly love Scotty. Oh yes, mahaha!

Don't feel bad, Neo. I thought it meant sewers as in the places where Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reside.

I was really confused. XD

Yeah, every time I see this thread now I think sewers as in, underground pipe systems XD;

@Calomel - Thank you! I don't know what anything is called, I'm just calling the parts engines, body, arm thingies, and saucer XD I wish my boyfriend hadn't taken his Enterprise models to work, they'd be perfect to work from..
