Happy Canada Day and Fourth of July to all you Canadian and American folks

This afternoon my boyfriend and I are heading out to the city's Canada Day celebrations, and hopefully we'll be able to get some of that Canada Day cake XD What's everyone else up to for these events?

If they don't get rained out, we go to fireworks on the 3rd Local town does them then instead of the 4th. Been going since I was a baby! Gotten ash in my eyes a couple of times too XD

I'll be relaxing at home! We have a burn ban from the lack of rain, but hopefully I can catch some outside the window. I may yet get a small fountain to do in front of our house and some sparklers...

Not sure what we're doing for the 4th now - our anniversary is the 3rd, and originally my husband had to work, so we were going to go to dinner on the 4th. But the bosses decided no one is working Friday night after all, so now we can actually celebrate our anniverary on time.

We're in a burn ban as well, so I have no idea if there will be any fireworks here either XD
