The Race

March Meadow Triathlon

This triathlon takes place in a nice peaceful meadow with a pond at it's center. There will be a flying, ground, and aquatic section.

There are 10 team spots open for this race.

Special Rules

This race involves three different terrains: air, water, and land. In order to enter your Samanayr into the triathlon, you must create a team with other users with a Samanayr suitable for each terrain type. For example: one Lamanayr(for air portion), one Aquatic(for water portion), and one Kirin(for ground portion) You can of course enter any species into the water and ground portions; however, certain species may be at a disadvantage for certain terrains such as an aquatic running the ground portion or a fire elemental doing the water portion. For the flying section, only Samanayrs able to fly may enter.

- Team must contain three Samanayrs, each entered by a different user
- Only one ‘magical’ species per team (Mystic, Misery, Elemental, etc)
- Only flying Samanayrs may enter the air section of the triathalon
- Each member of a team must submit an application form
- If you would like to enter for a random team, just put random for team name and members

Prizes!

Medals for the triathalon are slightly different from normal races. Only the first place team will receive a triathlon medal, one for each participating Samanayr. Second and third place team members will each receive a modiem, of choice and random respectively.

Triathlon Triplet Amulets: 10% chance of triplets, and gives the wearer either Fancy Feathers, Multiple Eyes, or Multiple Tails.

Triathlon Fancy Feathers Amulet - Gives the wearer three fancy feathers.
Triathlon Multiple Eyes Amulet- Gives the wearer a third eye.
Triathlon Multiple Tails Amulet - Gives the wearer the Multiple Tails trait.

There is one of each amulet available and members of the winning team will need to agree amongst themselves on which amulet to get.

To apply for a race spot, send a PM to my account, silvermoondragon, either on the forum or PI(pm’s sent to Sushidragon may get missed or you miss getting the spot you want), with the subject as March Meadow Triathlon and the following form filled out:
If you do not have a team and want to be randomly paired up, just enter your team name/members as RANDOM.

Alright, who is looking for team members? I've got a couple sams (one's bipedular, one with vestigial wings, would that affect their ground speed you think? So far she's been my racer of choice) and one lamanayr with tons of wings! But I've got no true swimmers, so... PM me on PI if you're interested!

The triathlon teams are now posted. We had enough Samanayrs for 9 teams. If any of the random teams would like to add a team name, go ahead and let me know.

Unfortunately we had one extra ground Samanayr for the last random team that will be doing the aquatic portion, but if anyone wants to switch up a ground for an aquatic, please let me know and I'll swap them up.
Alternatively, if there are three more entrants that have not yet signed up for the race and would like to submit two aquatics and a flying Samanayr, I can add a tenth team.
