If you were around Samanayrs early enough, you probably know Lexington. She was around from the very beginning and even owns one of the earliest Sams

Over the years she adopted more than 70 Samanayrs, but she's moved on and has other interests now. We do keep in touch via Facebook and she contacted me recently asking if I could find new homes for her Samanayrs. I did let her know that you aren't required to participate and keep active to keep your Sams but she wants them to be loved and enjoyed and played with <3 I asked if I could give them away for the holiday events and she said that sounded great.

So, with one she requested be given away to a specific person and one that I'll be keeping, that's 70 Samanayrs that are looking for new homes! Most of them will be given away in December but some may be waiting until January, depending on how things go

I'm also working on some breedings from some of her pairs that don't yet have foals to give away in other events!

A bunch of these Samanayrs are going to be given away in this event, where everyone gets the gift of a retro Samanayr I've earmarked 40 to be given away here but can always add or remove as needed.

Rules and info!

- There is a limit of one entry per person.
- All Samanayrs given away in these events will stay in their current Songs unless the stallion's owner is no longer a member of the community. In that case you may find a new Song for a mare.
- If you receive a stallion in a Song you will become responsible for that Song. You can decide whether or not you'd like to be in the running for any stallions in a Song or not.
- Sorry, I should have said this from the beginning! I was intending to give the Samanayrs out randomly, but if you do have a list of preferences I'll try to accommodate. No guarantees, though! If you want to edit your post to include preferences please feel free to do so.

Wow, I know she shut down her adoptions not too long ago but didn't think she'd ever part with her gorgeous collection. I think it's super nice of her to hand them out to others, though at the same time kind of sad to see another oldie from the Orchard Messagepost moving on, but that's life, no?

Lexington, I've admired her retro Sams so much! I remember when LJ breedings were all the rage and I slobbered over a great deal of her Sams. It's very generous of her to give them all away. ;_;

Oh wow, that's so amazingly generous of her! :O It's always sad to see an original stalker go, but it's a real treat to see her releasing them into the community so that the joy can be shared. Especially at this time of year!
I have to say, I do love the older Sam's, and Lex has some real beauties~

In fact, she has some of my original favourites, like Flightless, Splash, Steps, Bringer, and Misery/Ash!


And she also had three of my favourite many-legged Sams! Dose legs, man.



Can wait to see what all the new owners out there choose to do with these guys! Here's hoping we can usher some new blood into the fold. ^-^

Void of Vivid Darkened Dreams - I love the lounging pose, and the tines are magnificent.

QUESTION SUSHI!!!

If the stallion owner is not active and youd still like to keep your mare in the song (If you get one).. is that ok? Do you still have to have permission from the stallion to use the mare for breedings etc? o_<

Just thought of that and wasn't quite sure. I'd figure it wouldn't change much since Lex gave permission for her sams to be gifted... >.<; There are some of her mares that have inactive stallions but they are just GORGEOUSLY paired... 8I Be a shame to part some.

@RikkuGirl - It's implied that the owners of the mares in a Song don't require permission to use the stallion, and you are welcome to keep a mare in her Song! Makes it easier for me too ;D
